Did a search and I couldn't find a related thread...

I did an upgrade to 3.0 just now, and everything seems to be OK.

I can log into the admin panel... but If i try to do anything like upload, or click a link to navigate elsewhere I get sent right back to the Log In Page. I can't stay logged in.

I have cleared my browser cache and tried all that good stuff, but to no avail. I have tried from both Firefox and Internet Explorer

    barman,

It sounds like a session problem. I don't know what webserver you are on, but it is a common issue on a Startlogic server. Check this discussion thread here as it may have something similar to your situation -> http://plogger.org/forum/discussion/1765/reverts-me-back-to-admin-login-page/

If you're having problems, let us know what webserver you are hosting on and I can try to help you.

Ugh... i read over that thread seems simple enough.

I made those changes and now I have blank pages for my gallery. I reverted back but they're still there. I'm at the point where i'm gonna say "fuck it" and reinstall, but Startlogic sucks so bad I cant get a reinstall to function.

ok a little PEBKAC and startlogic suckiness.... the info in that thread works, but it may not work on certain startlogic servers as they're updating their control panel to a messy piece of crap...

so in that thread, if it doesn't work out, try /phpsessions instead of /cgi-bin/tmp

Thanks for the update, barman! It is odd that Startlogic doesn't automatically set up a folder for session variables instead of making users create it themselves for each and every script.
