    Has anyone made this capability? I basically want a password protected file (using .htaccess) that will give them access to upload files.... has anyone made something like this?

    I'd really like this too... Having multiple people able to share photos with each other would be fantastic

    Yah, I believe this would be great. I posted earlier on this, and was mentioned that it might be in the works, but not the immediate priority. It would be the icing on the cake if this could allow user upload other then admin.

    Well the newst beta version has a folder called "uploads" it uses this folder to import photos from. To allow users to upload simply use an image upload script to upload images to this folder. They won't appear straight on the gallery but you wouldn't really want them to without being checked first. To check them just login to your admin account and click "import" and it will list all the files that users have uploaded, then simply import them to their correct folders. :-)

    I'm not a programmer so if you can explain how to do this i would be really grateful!

    Even integrate this with wordpress would be fantastic

    Look at the other threads about this.

    I have finished this and have been using it for a couple weeks. It takes time to document and create an install. I should have it completed within the week, I hope.

    It allows admin to create a collection. Then assign a user, username and password for that collection. Admin still has full access to that collection.

    Then the user logins and is only shown and allowed to create albums under their collection only. They can add photos, edit titles and captions. It is exactly like the admin upload and manage, but for their collection only.

    I will post within a week with the finished module and documentation.
