I uploaded some photos to the uploads directory. My ftp timed out before it was finished and it looked like some photos were in the wrong directory. So I decided to delete all the files and upload them again with a different ftp program. When i went to import i could still see "wrong" pictures in the directory. I then looked at all the photos in the upload directory and they were the "correct" photos, but the thumbnails showing in the import function, were not the correct thumbnails (tho they were thumbnails of some of my other photos). I finally went ahead and imported all the right and wrong thumbnails, and the final album is all correct. So is there a thumbnail cache that needs to get cleaned out. ? How do i do this. Thanx.

ching, you can just clear the cache by deleting all the files in the /thumbs/ folder. Hope that helps.

Hi Mike, this did not work. I deleted all files in plogger/thumbs. also i deleted my local IE cache. I did not find an admin/thumbs. on reloading the gallery everything was o.k. and a check of the thumbs was correct. But when I went to admin to import, the "bad" thumbnails were back. I looked at the thumbs generated in plogger/thumbs/ and they are the right thumbnails, but somehow a different thumb is showing in the admin import area. Some of my photos have the same name (but different directories) becuz of the way my camera works. Should I rename all photos before uploading? I'd rather not if i didn't have to but if that's only way so be it. Thx.

    rick,

Do you have 2 files named the same but in different subfolders of uploads? This was a bug before and has been fixed in the current codebase.
