    Hi All,

In my quest for more scalable and feature rich yet simple gallery I came across plogger. I have test installed it and tried few simple albums etc. Looks simple and good.

However, I would love to hear more from developers and other users of this script, before I start using it for my site.

    1. Could developers comment on how this gallery script will perform when the number of albums/photos grow big (and also assuming huge traffic - like 89,000 pageviews/day).

Since you have designed this and written the code, do you guys think it could be problem under such load?

What would be optmial setup (few albums with lot of photos or more albums with few photos, what would be optimal number of albums/photos to be displayed per page)

Also, do you all think database access needs to be optimized for heavy load (80k pageview/day) or the current one should be able to handle it?

I really liked the simplicity of this gallery and I am thinking of moving my gallery 2 site to plogger, but I just want to hear about the topics I mentioned above. The site I run has huge traffic and gallery size it self is big.

I appriciate your inputs in advance and thanks for this useful script.

    Thanks
    dshah
