Hello, i just wonder if it would be possible to have a BETA3 version somewhere and updated on a regular basis in order to see what's happening and what are the (r)evolutions?

    http://dev.plogger.org to see progress
http://svn.plogger.org/plogger/trunk/ is development source (you'll need an SVN client to retrieve)

You can checkout my test gallery at http://www.solanosystems.com/plogger/, although I can't give you access to the backend. You'll have to download the latest source and install it yourself if you want to play with it.

I'm (still) looking forward to Plogger 1.0 ;=) myself. It's almost a year since the last message that an official version was on it's way. But hey, I know these things take time and that it's all done in peoples spare time :) Nevertheless I hope this will not cause people to move away from Plogger. It's still one of the best.

I'm still using an 'old' beta3 version (http://www.spoenk.nl/fotografie/), rev.365, but it works very nicely, although I never succeeded in getting that watermark and still hoping for a 'stockphoto'-feature ;).

By the way, there is a new version of thickbox available (version 2). Same thing as lightbox and litebox etc. Works fine: http://jquery.com/demo/thickbox/.
I personally removed the dark background because my eyes don't like it (dark-light-dark-light-dark-light-dark-light etc.), but the good thing about it is that you can use it in your site/weblog even for pages/iframes.

    Mike,

I'm a bit confused, I recently discovered plogger and I'm using it currently on 3 sites. I use 2.1 beta but now I read that plogger 1.0 beta 3 is being developped ?

What happened with the incremental numbering ?

    Kind regards & Thumbs up!
    Robin

Eh, didn't you hear? Version numbers are BS! =)

I think I understand the root of your confusion, it is actually not Plogger 1.0 Beta 3 but just Plogger Beta 3.

    Here is the progression:

    Plogger Beta 1
    Plogger Beta 2
    Plogger Beta 2.1 (security release)
Plogger Beta 3 (coming out next)
Plogger 1.0 (hopefully sometime in the distant future?)

I guess the idea was to just give the beta versions numbers until we reached a stable version to call 1.0. Doesn't really make that much sense I guess. hehe =)

    Anyway, Beta 3 is next.

    Lol

Thnx for the reply,. Looking forward to Beta3, certainly now that I've read the Developpers site and upcoming features.
