Hi there, just wondered if anyone could help me... I have used Plogger now for a good few months now and I must say it's one of the easiest to use free photo gallery scripts out there.

I am moving my site over to a new server and wanted to know how to transfer the gallery...

Would I be right in doing the following...

    1. Use PHP My Admin and make a backup of the database
    2. Download the files from my server via FTP
    3. Create a new database on my new server and import the database
    4. Upload all the files via FTP to my new server
    5. Edit the "plog-config.php" file to point to the new database

Any help would be great, cheers.

    Ashley

I think you pretty much got it. The last thing you need to worry about is making sure permissions are set correctly on the folders. Plogger should have proper access to image and thumbnail folders, as well as the uploads folder.

Cheers Mike... so I'd just refer to the install instructions to set the correct permissions?

Yes, off the top of my head ... /images, /thumbs, /admin/thumbs/, /uploads should all be 755 or 777.
