I've uploaded a directory into the uploads folder in gallery. When I go to import it, it warns me, "Warning: this directory does not have the proper permissions settings! You must CHMOD 777 on this directory using your FTP software or import may fail." However, I know that the uploads directory, the subdirectory containing the pictures, and the pictures themselves are already all set at 777. The images are each under 100KB, are 800x600, and are named without periods. I've searched the forums for something similar, but was unable to find an answer. Can anyone help?

I think you need to give 777 permissions to all your folder in pulic_html/images/ ie all your collections and albums folders. :)

    Same issue here.
The images folder is 777, the collections and albums under them are 755

when plogger makes the collections and albums, the permissions are not set to 777, though if plogger can create an albums folder under the collection which is 755, why is there problems moving images from the uploads to the album??

I am not able to change the collections or albums chmod, I get an error, though I can change other folder permissions.. wierd.
