I have read previous posts about importing large files. I have amended the plog-globals.php max file size and timeout as suggested elsewhere.
However if I ftp large files (> 1.5mb) and then try to import from the uploads folder I stll get a NO GD message. If I upload individual large files using plogger, I have no problem. Similarly the import option works fine with smaller files, so I presume my server is correctly configured. If I delete the large file from the the uploads folder, the NO GD goes away and any smaller files that I have FTP'd show up again.
The obvious solution is to reduce the size of the files but I want to be able to share hi res files with colleagues.
If anyone can suggest other things to try, I would be most grateful since in all other respects Plogger seems to do almost exactly what I want.
Decided to try the SVN V3 to see if this fixed the large file problem. Yes and no.
I no longer get the NO GD message. The page which should show the thumbnails appears. It lists the filenames and says that thumbnails are being created (which they are) but they never appear and the ticker stays at 0%.
There is an error on page message which may give you a clue which reads - Line 57 Char 2 'Ajax' is undefined code 0 and then gives a url pointing to plog-import.php
This is an improvement since I can now bulk upload and put the files into collections and albums - but it would be nice to see what I am doing rather than rely on filenames alone.
The gallery itself works fine, thumbnail, intermediate and large pictures all show up OK.
