Can someone help me with this? I went to go upload a photo using the Admin and I get the error: "No GD support detected"
Since the Servers belong to me I can install anything I want on it. What am I missing? (Ironically we installed Plogger on our Test Server and this function worked fine.)
* I changed some lines in php.ini: + find the extension_dir setting and set it to c:/PHP/extensions (or your own path of course) + find the ;extension=php_gd.dll line and removed the semicolon
And it worked. I hope this will help someone else out in the future
im having the same problem as you, only i cant get to my php.ini ... i asked my server to enable GD but they told me it already is and theres GD 2.0 on there. is there something else that im doing wrong?
Hi pedron, Well it worked as far as it allowed me to upload my test picture but when i tried to view it via either the view or manage tab in the admin panel it again said ' No GD support detected' Mmmmmm I will have a look on php.net myself and see if there is any more info. I am running sokkit on my windows home pc in order to localy test php scripts and have a quiker way of reviewing css changes to free scripts like plogger. Do you think using sokkit could be a problem?
This looks like a big on phpThumb class (which is used internally by Plogger to generate thumbnails). Can you please show me the output of your phpinfo()? This will help me to figure this one out.
Thanks anti and rushlight! Turns out they DIDN'T have it turned on after all (and I have two emails from them claiming it was). Because of their error, my host actually upgraded my hosting for free thanks to you guys... so, thank you very very much!
Mike, can we have some place for happy plogger users? May be they can show out their stuff, write about their experiences. Yes we do have my plogger category in the forum. that will serve?
