I love the Ploggger Gallery and I've looked at a few of the galleries created by it and can't wait to begin customizing my gallery. I'm having some issues with seeing the images and need some assistance.

I did an FTP batch upload to my Plogger gallery, but the images are only showing up as small boxes on the page. I know I must be missing something in the formatting.

Will someone please take a look at http://98.130.248.182/hahtvnetdev/index.php?level=album&id=5 to tell me what I'm missing.

    Thank you in advance.

    Lukeither,

In your Admin -> Options tab, what do you have for the Gallery URL? It seems that it is http://devlumultimedia.com/hahtvnetdev/ instead of http://98.130.248.182/hahtvnetdev/. I am assuming that devlumultimedia.com is a test site or the DNS is not currently configured for the webhost you have the Plogger install on?

You're correct, devlumultimedia.com is a test site. The Gallery URL is showing http://devlumultimedia.com/hahtvnetdev/. Do I need to change it?

Issue not quite solved. I made the change to the Gallery URL to http://98.130.248.182/hahtvnetdev, now I can see the images but not the updates (added collections and albums) when I go to the page.

Thanks in advance for your prompt reply. Help!

Is there anything in those collections and albums that you added? Plogger does not display empty collections or albums.

Also, it looks like you are using the 1.0beta3 version of Plogger. It is recommended that you upgrade to the newly released 1.0-RC1 version (downloadable from the main page) for better security, some enhancements, and a lot of bug fixes.

I'm having problems again with the images showing. I've deleted all the files (due to tables issue) and reloaded the plogger app. and the upgrade.
The images are not showing up again and I've checked the Gallery URL in the options to make sure it's correct.

    Here's the index link:http://98.130.248.182/hahtvnetdev/index.php

I also deleted the old collections and album and they're still showing up.

    HELP!

    Lukeither,

It looks like you have not run the Upgrade script after installing the new files. Navigate to http://98.130.248.182/hahtvnetdev/plog-admin/_upgrade.php and follow the instructions.

I clicked on the above link and by follow the instructions I only see the option to click "continue", when I click "continue" I get this message, "Plogger needs to restructure 277 more images", there are no images to restructure at this point due to me deleting the everything from the server and loading plogger and the upgrade back up on the server.

    Please advise.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Okay, if you have deleted all of the image files, then you need to delete the MySQL database as well and start with a new database. Plogger finds 277 images in the database that are likely not on the server anymore. Delete the database and start from scratch.

When I created a new collection and album and added an image, the image still isn't showing. It's showing, no images.

I've deleted the database and have been online with my host server for most of the morning. It appears the updates I'm making in Plogger (deleting and/or adding collections and album) are not changing.

    Please advise,

    Lukeither,

Can you grant me temporary FTP access to your webhost? I can take a look and see what may be going on. You can email me information at sidtheduck SPLAT gmail DOT com.

    Lukeither,

It should be working now. You still had the old Plogger files in there as well and I'm suspecting you were using http://98.130.248.182/hahtvgallery/admin/ (old way) to login instead of http://98.130.248.182/hahtvgallery/plog-admin/ (new way). I uploaded a test image and it all worked just fine. There was also a bit of messed up database structure that should now be fixed as well.

    Good luck!
