    Hi there,

Just wondering if any one here done any addition to the "Show Detail" area by adding the location where the photo was taken. And then either embedding a Google map or a link to the Google map.

    Thanks

    jimmychen:

Try taking a look at the results from this forum search: Google map

I believe chewbears did a project similar to what you are looking for, so you might check out his post on the subject.

Yes you can do what you like. I do not have a viewable link to my particular project but here is what I gave to another center to use. My centers site is using google API to utilize kml/kmz's

See below for the examples. The site link I am providing does a call to the image to check to the mysql database to see if lat and long exists. If it does I simply pass that informtion via PHP to google maps search to give me a pinpoint on a map. You need a google account and register your site to make that point hold your images or to house the google map API.

Also the site you see is extracting information from the jpeg comment field, where my site extracts information from the exif gps-latitude and gps-longitude.

I do not know how much information you are looking for but would be more then happy to help you.
