General Support: Thumbnail generation times out on import

Hi,
I installed Plogger on localhost, all working neatly, admin panel works, changin themes and everything.

When I try to import though, it just times out - I lose control of everything until I restart the browser (close the session), thumbnails don't generate if I try to import from a folder - so I assume that's what's causing this. I also tried with a single file - it just times out.

Is there anything I could do to make this work? Let me know if you need any extra info. This is a clean install of XAMPP on Windows XP, configured the database and added a user, all worked fine except the import.
