Hey guys, im having a pretty easy time customizing this, the last thing I need to know is when your viewing just one picture, and you can click it to view that picture, where can I customize it to make it pop open in a new window?
I'm going to look up the 'old' code I used for this because at this moment I'm using one of the latest nightlies which uses themes and different functions... I'll get back on this.
The popup.php file is a kind of copy of the thumb-popup file used in the admin folder of plogger. Mail me if you want this file, I can send it to you. But a little warning: in the next beta things will change. Templates are used and a lot of functions have changed. Also there is the option of telling plogger to not make any intermediate images (the middle 'thumbs') which is very helpfull when using a popup. At this moment (if you would use popups starting from the thumbs straight to the large original images) you would still end up with all images in three sizes on your server.
Jack, have you considered making your pop-up version of the Plogger interface into a theme? We would love to have something like that for the launch of Beta3.
Never thought of that, because I was always 'begging' for this feature as a standard option in plogger :). But I think I can do that. It would only require an modified album.php and the extra popup.php for the images. I'll do that asap and send those files to you.
hey, i wanted to get my full size pictures to open in a new window also, i saw above it says to email you for the popup file (as i'm using the beta2 version right now), but i can't find your email address. could you send it to me? bob@sadcactus.com thanks in advance.
This has been such a easy photogallery to work with and edit in this version.
I want to talk my client into using it because it is so much easier than doing the photos manual on a html page. I'll tell them there is another version coming soon... so maybe they can wait.
There are so many things being changed at this moment (for the better), that I'm not changing anything anymore in the code :). I'm not planning on using different themes myself (as with wordpress) because I think it's the most overrated feature in a blog or gallerysystem, but still, being able to change things easily in the theme directory is very nice!
So ... I could send the files to you (geekgirldany), but I also would advice you to wait . I propably will replace my files with the default files when they are available and then go on from there :).
