What are the permissions (CHMOD) on your thumbs/ folder?

Hi, I seem to have a similar problem. http://genie.sg/2009%20photos.php?level=collection&id=2

Initially I had the problem of the "?" missing after the php when I mouse over the image placeholder at the picture level, and clicking on it will lead me nowhere. Then I changed the line in plog-funtions.php from baseurl to gallery_url as suggested in one of the discussions and I'm able to click on it and view the image like cardscomp, but the image still doesn't show at the picture level.

Pardon my ignorance but what's CHMOD?

CHMOD sets the permissions of a folder or filename on a linux server. You usually use the CHMOD command through FTP or through a control panel filebrowser, unless you have SSH access to your server (not usually the case unless you have a dedicated solution).

i have the same problem but not at the localhost (on my pc).
i'm pretty sure that the problem is with the chmod on the server, but i do not undrestad, i changed the setting in the config file, i had the same problem, so i changed the setting by the ftp, again the same problem!
    what can be the problem?

i also fogot to say that i do not use the intermediate thumbnail to show on the picture page, i use the original file, so the problem is with the content/image folder.
