Translating: how to install de lang pack?

<strong>Thanks first of all for the great idea and script for this photo gallery.</strong> I have not yet worked anything with it. I'm from Germany, so I want to domestize it first. Redaing in the forum I found and downloaded de.MO pack. reading another post here from Danish poster, he also has a .PO pack. How do I have to proceed to make the German language work?
