Well for starters, the forums are a good place to get started. If you were a little less brash if your first post here, somebody might be a bit more willing to work with you. How about you bring the tone down a bit and we'll see what we can do.

    DemoMan,

We are currently in the process of updating the website and of releasing the next version for public use.

Posted By: DemoManI cannot find the url for the svn

The SVN url is http://svn.plogger.org/trunk. You should be able to check out a version, but only registered developers are allowed to commit patches.

Plogger is released under the GNU GPLv2 as seen in the LICENSE.txt that comes with your downloaded copy of Plogger.

    You mean this sticky?
    Thankful People: DemoMan

    thanks for posting back

first off I want to appologize if I offended you by the way I wrote. I tend to be very directly.
And I admit I could have started with a compliment like how good I think this projekt is which I'll catch up on:
I find it great! And that's why I registered and stated my concerns - I care for the projekt too, now.

Thank you sidtheduck that was exactly the information I was looking for!

Although I was aware of that I would not be able to commit patches I could not find where one could apply for becoming a registerd developer (questioning the effectiveness of a thread per applicant).

I should have seen the text file however I would have liked to know what I am download, before I do. ;-)

about the sticky: I suggest another one directed towards developers that want to contribute directly constisting of the basic questions - that I could imagine - which come up all the time:

eg: - svn path (to familiarize with the code)
    - how to become/apply for registered developer
    - where to find the dev page

basically a how-to on what needs to be done to become integrated into the projekt's development
this would ease the application process itself and might even increase the number of applicants and therefore speed up development
