    Hi Guys

I migrated plogger to another domain and a different hosting space on the server, but the same host. (copied plogger folder and trasfered database) Everything seems to working fine: I can create collections, albums etc. but when I upload an image, although it?s says successful and the album says that it contains that image in admin, the actual image thumbnail show up as that default ?no image icon pic placeholder?. All old existing images show up fine. If I make description changes on existing images, it work fine.

I checked that the images I uploaded are on the server, so the upload is successful.

My guess is that there some sort of path error. Somewhere it?s pointing to the old domain? What files would contain that info? I checked plog-funtions and plog-config but can?t find anything. I read on the forum that it could be permission problem, so I set the whole plogger folder to 777 just for testing purposes via Filezilla FTP, no luck.

I had a problem with another plogger install after setting the permissions to 777 via FTP and it turns out the problem was that permissions had to be set by the sys admin not via FTP, so maybe it could be that too? But my initial install went smooth and I set the permissions via FTP?.anyway

What is the best way to migrate? Cause now I basically moved the plogger folder as is, and migrated the databases. Surely there need to be paths changed etc. like Joomla? Won?t it be better to install from fresh and then to replace certain files and DIRs, if so, what would they be?

    Thanks
    Lenner

It looks like the image is on the server but the thumbnail has not been created and is not in the thumbnail folder, unless plogger renames it.. not sure

the big version of the image shows up but the preceding 3 thumbnails to get the big version don't show...

Did you go to the Options tab and change the gallery url after you moved Plogger?

dude, you're a genius :) hahahah It did the trick!!! I completely missed it. Where in the documentation does it explain that step? I know its obvious, but the option tab is the last place I thought of looking. I was looking for a gallery url in the plog function files etc. Thanks again...

You're welcome - glad it all got sorted out. Most programs have a settings or options page where things like the URL are entered.

I just checked the documentation and it isn't in the current info on the main website. We are working on updates to the website, so will be sure to include that.
