    Greetings -
I hope there is someone out there who might be able to assist with this issue.

    Plogger version 3
php 5.2.2 (was php 4 when plogger was installed - same host, just upgraded the php on the account)

I have not uploaded any image for a few months....then we had a vacation!
Now I have 177 images to upload and I cannot upload them individually, nor import the lot of them.
After I try either option, I just get a blank page returned.

Please let me know what additional information you might need to help with the issue.
My php knowledge is very basic (enough to get me through installing plogger, figuring out a few bugs I ran into, etc.)
  1.
    i've a similar problem.
i cant upload images if they come from a camera card,
maybe EXIF librery not uploaded in php core ?
    regards
    r

I just tried uploading a random jpg file and it worked just fine.
If I try the images from our vacation the following happens:

    • place image in uploads folder

    • log in to the admin section, select image from the import tab

    • process image, returns a blank page

    • Image is not uploaded, but is removed from the uploads folder (it just vanishes)

The one that worked was e-mailed to me, and shot with a Cannon EOS Digital Rebel XT
The ones that do not work were sent to me on a CD, shot with an Olympus u790SW

    Any ideas????

Hope this does not double post - not sure what happened to my first try!

    OK -
I just processed the problem images in photoshop. Just did a batch rename and save as JPG.
That seemed to do the trick. They all uploaded.

Anyone have an idea about this issue with the Olympus images?

    Hi phases -

Yes, we are aware of the issue with Olympus images (trac ticket #182). It's caused by an issue with the exifer-1.5 library that Plogger 1.0b3 uses. We've updated the exifer library in the latest SVN version to exifer-1.7, which has the fix in place for this problem.

What was the average filesize of one of the Olympus images before you processed them in Photoshop, and the average filesize of one of the images after processing?

    600 - 700 k before the batch process
    1200 to 3200k after
