Hello I have installed Plogger into a sub domain and used the import feature to populate an album. All of my image links are broken. I can access the image ot thumb directly throught a URL. I have tried to change the path on the DB for plogger_pictures.path to be an absolute URL as a test but still no luck. I have the gallery url in admin set to http://summershow.pcad.ac.uk/gallery/ which is where the gallery is. Any thoughts from anyone? Regards
You are missing the path to your thumbs, and your intermediate pictures are not showing any link information. The only thing that is working is the link to the original picture.
Is gallery where plogger is installed? Or is plogger installed in another folder?
Hello Thank you for the reply. Yes Plogger is installed in the directory gallery. I can see that the thumbs path is broken but I am unsure where to make the change to correct this.
You don't want to add an absolute URL to your database since Plogger already uses an absolute URL (it adds the rest of the URL in the script, but only stores the last part in the database). Did you receive any errors when you installed? It doesn't look like any of your thumbnails are being created, so either GD library is not installed correctly on your server or the 'thumbs/' folder may not have correct write permissions or the path may be the problem. Can you confirm that GD library is installed on your server and can you CHMOD your permissions on the 'thumbs/' file to '0777'?
Hi Sid Thanks for your reply. I can confirm that GD is installed:
GD Support enabled GD Version bundled (2.0.34 compatible) FreeType Support enabled FreeType Linkage with freetype FreeType Version 2.1.9 T1Lib Support enabled GIF Read Support enabled GIF Create Support enabled JPG Support enabled PNG Support enabled WBMP Support enabled XBM Support enabled
The thumbnails from my first import ARE in the gallery\thumbs folder. I did not receive any errors on install although it did not create the DB script initially and and I had to install a couple times. It does look like it is a path issue. Regards
