    I installed this script and when i click on thumbnails , it take me to my index.html

    You have two index files one with html and other with php extention.
    You should put your gallery in a separate directory.
    That's the easiest way to work it out.

    gregor is correct. Another way is to use the "Cruft-free URL" option in Admin -> Options.
