Sorry if this question has already been covered, I did a search on this site and found part of my answer but not all of it.
I wish to remove the dates that are being displayed bellow the thumbnails in my albums, i have already altered the css as instructed in another users post, this successfully removed the date from above the full size image (the image that is displayed when you click on a thumbnail on the album page), but did not remove the date bellow the thumbnails on my album pages.
Again I apologise if this has already been covered, but as I said I could not see an answer when I searched
My email is one_mad_punk@yahoo.co.uk and that is also my MSN id, if anyone would be so kind as to explain how to go about altering the code as to not display the date, it would be most appreciated
I'm really not sure what you're referring to - my plogger3 gallery has no dates or any text below the thumbnails. Could you post a link to your gallery so that someone can take a look at it? Then maybe we can come up with a solution for you.
Looks to me like you're using a theme called "Broadway". The pix display you're wanting to alter is at the album level. You need to modify the album.php file that's in your Broadway theme folder. Line 16 reads:
$fill_date = 'true'; // When the value of "$fill_date" is set to 'true', the theme will use the picture's date as a description if no description otherwise exists
Remove the word "true" but leave the single quotes. That should remove the dates.
