I have just set up plogger on my site. I'm pleased with how it turned out but I have a question. How do I get the RSS link to work when clicked on? Right now when you click on the orange RSS button at the bottom it brings up the RSS code page on my site and does not take you to a page to subscribe to the photos. Am I supposed to do something in order to set that up or is it automatically done?

Here is my page: www.saltedwebsites.com/features/photos.php .

I guess I still don't understand. Shouldn't a visitor be able to click on that orange button and be taken to an option to subscribe to the pictures (as opposed to just being confused by all the code that pops up from the xml feed page)?

I have set up a podcast on my site as well and I had to "submit" my podcast page to feedburner, then they gave me a link to put on my page that a visitor can click on to subscribe to the feed. I guess that's why I'm expecting this to work in the same way.

I'm still a little fuzzy as to how this should work :-)

RSS is a little confusing. Browsers are getting better at handling the experience, but in general most people are pretty confused when they click the little orange button and a bunch of code pops up. I believe if you click that button in IE7 a nice page comes up and gives you instructions on how to subscribe to the feed. In new version of Firefox, on the right side of the address bar a little RSS icon appears which lets you subscribe to the feed using Firefox's live folder feature. For applications that don't support automatic RSS detection, you usually just need to copy and paste the link to the RSS XML code and it will handle the rest.
