Hi there! I have been using plogger since 2 years, I have choose it since it is very light weight , quick, and can be intergrated easily! I have been fixing, adding, modifying many stuff in plogger and wondering what it takes to joing open-source team for plogger? Or is plogger just a single person? Cause I don't see any devs section.
There are a lot of areas for improvement and I'd like to help..
Hey m0! It's really just me at the moment, and honestly I haven't had any time at all to do any sort of coding on the product lately. When development was really active we coordinated a lot our development through TRAC at http://dev.plogger.org. We really do need help on the development side... a lot of developers express interest but very few actually follow-up on it. Working on an open-source project is a great resume builder by the way, it's how I got my current job as a Software Development Manager =)
I would start by checking out the latest code at http://svn.plogger.org/plogger. Make some changes, maybe fix some bugs that people have reported on the forum and create an SVN patch file. Email me the patches you create (mike at plogger org) and I will try out your changes and look at your code. If your changes look good and your coding style looks solid I will give you an account to make commits to the actual SVN repository. Email me if you have any questions!
