    Hi,
My server is a windows box at home. I want to administer my pictures directly with Windows File Explorer.
That is: delete, move, add, file rename. Folders are albums, etc. I only want to use plogger for publication.
Does plogger support this way of working? If not does anyone know an open source/free photo album that suppports this?
    Thanks,
    Stefaan

plogger doesn't support this method and honestly i don't understand why you would want to do it that way.

most photo galleries like plogger store information in a database so it knows where the pictures are, how they are organized, if there are comments or descriptions then show them, lets you add comments, modify picture information and alot more.

the initial adding pictures into the database takes some time and i think anything you would be looking for would do this too, you could write your own photogallery to grab all pictures in a folder and print them out or do it however you would want, but you aren't going to have the information/capabilities if you don't store the information in a database, people will be able to see your pictures and thats it... nothing else... even putting thumbnails up for your pictures would be a hassle as well as any other things like that

i really suggest you take some time and just import your pictures, if you have a billion pictures do an album at a time or something till they're all up...
