General Support: Having Problems finding fixes for Beta 3 version...

I spend a lot of time searching the forum for fixes to some of my issues and I find a lot of information but they all seem to be for the previous version. They say look on gallery.php line 11000+ (okay i'm exaggerating!) but I don't have that many lines... so I have several questions for this new version and how to make some simple changes.


1. how do I include the slideshow link and the "sort by" to the top of the thumbnail page as well as the bottom? I have a lot of pictures in the album and unless someone scrolls to the bottom they won't know they can view a slideshow.

2. Once in the slideshow, how do I move the "prev" & "next" arrows to the bottom as the pictures are quite large and you can't see the buttons unless you scroll back to the top.

3. In the slideshow, how can you get rid of the "view large image" I don't need that, and it doesn't work anyway, it takes me to a page not found, and the large image is already there for them to view, so why click on it?

4. In the slideshow, how can you add text instead of arrow images for prev & next? Not necessary, but it would be nice for people to know what they are without having to mouseover to know.

5. In the slideshow, Is there a way to say, back to album? so if they click that it will take them back to the thumbnail page?

6. I found in the previous version how to remove the filename from the heading, but I can't find how to do it in this version. please help, this is really ugly.... Collections » Bear Hunts » 2007 and Previous Years » bigbrown8ft.jpg

7. I do not want the large picture clickable, is there a way to turn this off completely?

8. on the thumbnail page, how do I get rid of the words "1 album" I just want the album name to show! And on the thumbnail page, how do I remove "16 pictures"?

That's all I can think of for now, I'm sorry if these questions have been answered for Beta 3 version, I honestly couldn't find them anywhere.
