    Hello All,

Can I start by saying a big thank you to Mike for this open source software. It looks fantastic on other sites but I unfortunately cannot get it working right. I am very new to this so it is probably something very stupid I am doing.

When I click on a collection image to view the albums within, it brings me to the root directory of that folder ... you can see what is happening here " http://www.limerickac.ie/plogger/lacimages.php " if you click on the first image.

I would really like some help on this if anyone has ever come across this problem. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind Regards,
    Noel O'Connor

    Noel,

If you are using version 3.0, check your options and make sure that your "Gallery URL" setting is correct. It should simply be http://www.limerickac.ie/plogger/. Also, maybe try turning on the "Use Mod_Rewrite" feature.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. The "Gallery URL" setting is as it should be - "http://www.limerickac.ie/plogger/". I am very new to this and not very familiar with PHP/MySQL and therefor do not know how to turn on the "Use Mod_Rewrite" feature you mention ? Any suggestions ?

    Regards
    Noel O'Connor.

There is an option on the options page that says "Use Mod_Rewrite" ... you just need to check it and save.

Now that I look at it though, your problem would probably fix itself if you renamed lacimages.php to index.php.

    Hi Mike,

Worked perfectly Mike. I renamed my file to index.php and up she came. Thanks a million for this software and also your support, much appreciated.

One small thing, I can't see the option on the options page that says "Use Mod_Rewrite" ?

    Thanks again,

    Noel O'Connor.

Ah, I think it is worded something like "Use Cruft Free URLs (requires mod_rewrite). It will basically change your URL structure from the crufty "http://www.limerickac.ie/plogger/?level=album&id=1" to something more friendly (to both search engines and humans) like http://www.limerickac.ie/plogger/cross_country/limerick_city_2007"
