    Hi,

I'm using the latest Beta from Trac, and when I enter accented spanish characters (á, é..) on caption or description it shows weird characters, not the ones I entered...

Is this a known problem? There is a workaround?

    Thanks!

Sounds like a Character Encoding problem, which I thought were taken care of in the latest version. Do you have a link to your gallery? Can you tell if they are being correctly inserted into the source (view source) or are they getting garbled in the database?

    Hi mike,

Thanks for your reply. I have set up a test gallery for you here:
    http://www.multiverso.com/plogger
    login: admin
    pass: pass

I have uploaded a couple of pictures with descriptions so you can check the problem. Navigate until you arrive to the captions and you'll see.
Also one of the images I have uploaded has accented characters that also get screwed up.

    Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry I haven't had any time to look at this! Can you make it available this Sunday?

    MV,

I just checked it out. I see everything works with foreign character sets except for the captions. Hmmm, I'll check the code.

Ok, I fixed. Checkout the latest version or look at http://dev.plogger.org/changeset/460 to see what you need to change in the code, it is a one-line fix.
