    Does anybody knows how to disable the collections page?
    I just want to have several albums in my gallery and one collection.
    I've searched the forum but i did'nt find any solution for this.

    I have found the solution.
    I want to share it with other users and post the script here but i'm not allowed to post it here.
    Ill get the message that my post 38000 caracters too long is.

    Sorry, maybe can the webmaster set it to unlimmited?

    I shall upload the page in a zip on my server so everybody can use it.
    I will post the link here this evening.
    I have also changed the jump menu, that means u can still use it and jump between your albums.

    If you want to see how it works here a example:

    I think this is what everybody wants who want to disable the collections level.

    hey lyrix,
    first of all thx for your afford to disable the collection page. but i have a problem, when i use your version of gallery.php
    i get this error msg:
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare generate_breadcrumb() (previously declared in
    /blabla/photos/gallery.php:701) in
    /blabla/photos/plog-functions.php on line 62
    i have to confess that i'm not really into php coding, so i would really appreciate your help.

    I dont understand your error.

    Because:

    /blabla/photos/gallery.php:701) in
    /blabla/photos/plog-functions.php on line 62

    photos is not a path direction in my script.

    Is the mod still available ? The link posted doesn´t work. Do the modifications work with the latest release? Could someone mail me the mod? amichel1@t-online.de

    This mod uses an old version of Plogger (2 years old). If the download were still available, it probably has not been updated to include the security fixes incorporated in August 2008, so I would advise against using it.

    The latest SVN version of Plogger has a dynamic structure already built into it, which accomplishes natively what this mod did.

    If you only have one collection with multiple albums, then the main page of the gallery shows the albums in that single collection (i.e., it opens at the collection level).

    If you only have one collection and one album within that collection, then the main page of the gallery shows the images in that single album (i.e., it opens at the album level).

    Instead of trying to implement an old solution, why not give the latest version a try instead?

    Kimparsell, i just installed the newest version. I have 1 collection with multiple galleries, however, the main page of the "gallery" still shows the collections page, not the "albums" page as you explain.

    I also tried reverting to the original theme, as those were the only files i have messed with, and it still isnt working.
